 Modern
Marble Mfg. was established in 1967 by Cleo Kahlhamer. The
primary goal was to manufacture culture marble products for
the bathroom, such as vanity tops, shower walls, and show
floors. Then in 1980 we started manufacturing the cultured
marble tubs & whirlpools, tub decks and splashes.In 1990,
we began manufacturing Marvelle (solid surface). This
expanded our market into custom kitchen countertops. In
addition, our expertise extended to manufacturing custom
shower floors & walls, vanity tops, tub decks & splashes,
fireplace facing, and bar tops.
In 1994, Jeff & Bev Kahlhamer purchased the company from
Jeff's parents. They continued to manufacture cultured
marble and Marvelle (solid surface).
In 2000, we stopped manufacturing cultured marble, but we
continue to install cultured marble purchased from our
suppliers.
In 2003, we expanded our custom installations to include
MTI Acrylic Whirlpool Tubs & Soaker Tubs.
In 2005, we became certified installers for Silestone®
(quartz) countertops, in addition to natural granite and
marble.
In 2007, we began offering Eclipse stainless steel
sinks in our sales and installations.
 Modern
Marble Mfg., Inc. is family owned & operated. Our son Robert
is grooming to be the 3rd generation to take over the family
business one day. Our son Dustin is also working in the
family business along side two other loyal employees.
